FAQs

Discover answers to some of our most common questions about Toweltique bath and kitchen towels — from materials and care to what makes each piece uniquely crafted.

Bath Towels

1. What makes Toweltique bath towels different?

Each Toweltique towel is crafted with attention to detail — from the selection of premium fibres to the precision of the weave. The result is a towel that combines enduring softness, high absorbency, and elegant simplicity designed to elevate your everyday rituals.

2. Are all Toweltique bath towels organic?

Not exclusively. Several of our collections are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, while others feature responsibly sourced natural fibres or blends chosen for their exceptional feel and performance.

3. How should I wash and care for my bath towels?

Machine wash warm (up to 40°C) with similar colours. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach, as these can reduce absorbency. Tumble dry on low or line dry for the softest, most natural finish.

4. Will my towels shed lint at first?

Some linting is natural with new towels and will lessen after the first few washes. Washing before first use helps set the fibres and enhance absorbency.

5. How can I keep my towels soft over time?

Wash with gentle detergent and avoid overloading your washing machine. Every few washes, add a cup of white vinegar during the rinse cycle to refresh the fibres naturally.

Kitchen Towels

1. What materials are used in Toweltique kitchen towels?

Our kitchen towels are woven from premium natural fibres — including cotton and cotton-linen blends — chosen for their absorbency, durability, and refined texture.

2. Are Toweltique kitchen towels safe for use around food?

Yes. All Toweltique towels are produced to high quality and safety standards. We recommend washing before first use to remove any finishing residues and enhance absorbency.

3. Can I tumble dry my kitchen towels?

Yes, on a low setting. Alternatively, line drying keeps them crisp and helps preserve the natural fibres.

4. Do the kitchen towels shrink after washing?

A small amount of shrinkage is normal for natural fibres and will stabilise after the first few washes. Washing in warm water (not hot) helps maintain the towel’s shape and texture.

5. How can I extend the life of my kitchen towels?

Rotate your towels regularly, avoid over-drying, and wash them promptly after heavy use. With proper care, Toweltique kitchen towels will stay fresh, absorbent, and beautiful for years.
